Guided Tours with Special Guests

Throughout the weekend, visitors had the opportunity to experience PMVABF alongside curators, artists, and other special guests who led online tours from unique perspectives. These events were free. This program series was supported by die Keure.



Curator-led Tours





Ebony L. Haynes is a writer and curator from Toronto, Canada. She is currently based in New York where she is a director at David Zwirner Gallery and charged with programming a new space. She is a visiting curator and critic for Yale School of Fine art in the Painting and Printmaking class of 2021; and she runs an online "school" where free professional practice classes are offered to Black students, world wide.


Prem Krishnamurthy is a designer, curator, writer, and teacher based in Berlin and New York. He currently directs Wkshps, a multidisciplinary design practice; is artistic director of FRONT International 2022, the Cleveland triennial of contemporary art; and organizes Commune, an emergent, multiform workshop that practices artistic tools for social transformation.


Hamza Walker is the Executive Director of LAXART, where he has organized the current exhibition of artists’ books, The Crisis of Representation as Illustrated with Plants and Flowers. Walker has also curated Interlude: Sol Lewitt, Page-Works 1967–2007 at LAXART in 2018. He was formerly at the Renaissance Society at the University of Chicago, and served as co-curator of the Hammer Museum’s biennial, Made in L.A. 2016.
